We had so much fun enjoying the autumn leaves.
Here is some of the fantastic writing the Kakabeak authors wrote. We tried very hard to add detail and quality vocabulary to our writing.
Today we went outside at autumn. The ground was spiky and super shiny. The leaves look like rain falling from the trees. You can cover yourself with leaves and make leaf piles and pretend it’s a volcano and jump in it too. It’s super fun. I love autumn.
I have a leaf. It is swirly crunchy pretty small brown and green. It can be orange when it is sunny. A green leaf is a bit yellow with all yellow veins. They are bumpy and stripey. All the leaves fall down on the ground because it is autumn. It looks like a rainbow.

Some leaves look like stars falling from the trees. Room 16 went outside. Room 16 were outside for so long and they went inside before the storm came. And there… were flying leaves everywhere. On the field we looked at leaves. We crunched the leaves. We threw the leaves up into the air and the leaves fell down fast. My leaf is crunchy like cocopops.

It was autumn and when it’s autumn then leaves fall off the tree. When some of them fell we went out to play in the leaves. The leaves were colourful. The leaves were green red and brown. I made a big tower of leaves. My friends helped me. I jumped in the big pile with my friends. I had to build it up again because I jumped in it and all of the leaves were squashed. I had lots of fun in the autumn leaves,
My leaf is colourful. The colours are red and orange and brown. It is fluffy but now it is crunchy like an apple becuase the leaf has be on the tree or the leaf goes rotten. The leaf falls off whenever it wants to.
I like my leaves because I like green leaves. I like a bit of my leaf because my leaves have red veins.
I like the crunchy leaves because Mrs Kelly found a dead leaf and gave the dead leaves to me.
I love you Leaf because you look like a tiger. Your colours are yellow and the other colour is brown.
I jumped in the leaf pile. It’s a big pile and all the kids jumped. I jumped quickly on the pile of leaves. I found two leaves. They looked different because they were brown and orange.
