We have been counting how many days we have had at school. We are learning you can only have 9 in the ones place before you need to swap it for a 10. It was 50 days at school and we were so excited. 50 is 5 groups of 10. We counted 10,20,30,40,50.

We had lots of learning fun celebrating 50 days at school. We can't wait for 100 days at school.

ReplyDeleteKia ora Kakabeak whanau, Wow has it been fifty days of school already? How exciting! It looks like everyone enjoyed a fun filled day doing different activities including the number 50. I like your colourful list of 50 words Mercy and Ana lee, awesome group effort Dilpreet, Eliza, Teagan and Isabella with your writing! Counting 50 popcorn kernels looks like an enjoyable task, eating popcorn is even better. How did the popcorn taste Dilpreet, Jay Jay, Logan and Lucian? It looks so yummy! Great team effort Arkalias, Charlie, Cooper O, Addy and Daniel with finding the bottle top numbers around the classroom and sorting them into order. I can see the most intriguing and challenging task would have to be stacking the 50 plastic cups on top of each other. Well done Taylor, Tamati, Logan, Ruby, Cassidy, Hannah and Eliana for working together and creating a tremendous tower of cups. I like the awesome team work of Honor and Khloe when you both stacked the cups up. It looks like more fun was had when the cups fell over. Thank you Kakabeak kids, for sharing your wonderful 50 days of school on the blog. I look forward to seeing what fun will be had on the 100th day of school.
